BRABUS aka StarTech
I agree the more measurements the better off we are. Lol Anthony just called today HE reassured me he has everyones name and number lol WE must be calling him like crazy. He thanked me for sending business his way and I apologized for blowing the whistle a little early to him. At a deal like this I would rather have 10 of the guys I know on a list then have the slk boys catch wind of this and ****** them all up. Anyway he said he would give us all a call when he hears back from eric.
Don't forget to do the ultimate test reverse. Some people have had some rubbing problems in reverse others have not. The only guy I know who went as low as he could with the H&R kit was Cryill Baldwin HERE was the after math of not trimming the bolt. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=10995
IT is so important to check this bolt before you even go for a test drive. All might seem fine and dandy but you can see from the pictures what happened to him. CHECK THE BOLT the last Eibach kit I did i had only about a 1/4 inch with the rims and tires i was running (19in rim in front) That is fine because it moves with the tire and it will never hit it. Also same principle is applied to the rear and the inside fender wall may need to run a spacer with our offset.

No problem. I'll take a bunch of measurements and plenty of photos before and after. Right now I'm running all stock on my SRT-6.
I'm no spring expert, but there is one thing that I find interesting / a bit concerning. The photo of the springs jonnyangel4 posted looks different than the photo of the Eibachs that comes up when you check the Eibach website. Based on my conversation with Anthony, I thought they were Eibach OEM's - but maybe something was lost in translation. Do you know if one or the other photos (Eibach or Brabus) or maybe both are "generic" (common, but not necessarily our springs)? If not, the springs in the photos look more like some other brands than Eibach. I don't know if that ultimately represents a problem, but that is the basis on which I made the sizing comparison.
Addendum: For comparison I just checked on Intrax's site. They list different springs for the Crossfire and the SLK320, where Eibach list's the same ones for both.

They are eibach springs I think they are a sport spring set. Here is the deal eibach really only has two sets of springs for our cars. The sport package and the Pro package. If anyone orders springs straight from eibach they will work for either the srt6 or the Limited. Now companies like Brabus, Startech, Evosport, AMG, and mercedes buy springs from eibach because they are one of the only spring manufactures. When you say OEM OUR springs ARE OEM eibach if Im not mistaken because they are AMG springs. Now if you are Brabus why would you sell brabus sport suspension if there only going to get the same eibachs springs they have just with your name on it. So they tweak it here and there just a bit. I looked on the website and only the pros are listed for our cars but I know if you were to search a mustang you could get prokit or sport kit
When I heard what the drop might be I am guessing it is a sports set up not the pro set up.
The picture listed http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe...35154200003942 on eibach website is a generic picture those are not the springs for our car. I have ordered a set from them before for my limited and they look just like the OEM minus 3/4 coil. These look the same to me here is a pic of my old stock springs and the brabus springs

I spoke with Anthony this morning. The springs and shocks have shipped and are due to arrive today (Thursday). He confirmed that they are the "sport" version of the Eibach springs - so I am concerned. We'll see.

The Eibachs drop the cars 1.1 in the front and 1.3 in the rear.

Ouch I do and do not like the sound of that at the same time. Really nice look if they work ok. Terrible rear chamber issues, along with the heavier engine and more of a drop do to weight.. I think this might be a bad day.

The springs and shocks arrived yesterday afternoon. I took some photos of the parts and I took several starting measurements. I'm having a local shop do the work. As of this morning, they've got the SRT-6 and the parts.

They didn't work on it today. They told me they planned to start on it Monday morning, unless the assigned tech wants to come in over the weekend - which apparently he sometimes does. I'm not expecting that, but you never know.
Here's some starting dimensions for you to ponder (SRT-6 Stock Wheels):
Front - 26"
Rear - 27 1/2"
Hub to Fender:
Front - 14"
Rear - 15"
Rim to Fender:
Front - 4 3/8"
Rear - 4 5/8"
Any variance between the two sides was 1/8" or less.

Apparently the tech did come in yesterday, but because I asked them to check the spring rate on the Brabus (Eibachs) vs. the SRT-6 Stock , he wants to work on it with the Svc Mgr tomorrow.
Paraphrasing Mission Control on July 11, 1969 - "you got a bunch of guys about to turn blue down here."

Ahhhh Houston.....
I called the shop a little while ago this morning - mainly to make sure everything is coming along smoothly. The receptionist tells me the service manager is .... on jury duty. Apparently he's been a few times recently - so this is the "we'll call you when we need you" thing, and today they called. Not sure if he's been assigned to a case.
Anyway, I called his replacement - but went straight to voicemail. So I called the boss - on vacation in Hawaii - cellphones are a wonderous invention, even on the beach.
Good thing he's a bud.
He'll be having a chat, and we'll see if we can't get this puppy done. I should be hearing from someone before too long.
Sorry about the delay guys. I'm hopeful this will happen today.
I'll post again when I hear more.
