Does anybody know how many "NEW" Crossfires are still in the system, 08's, 07's, 06's, 05's?
Just curious.

 

there is still about 5 new srts (2005) on cars.com which surprises me some... listed at prices 25-32k

 

I would think Tod would have a way of looking this up seeing as he work for a dealer.

 

According to Automotive News Data Center, Chrysler had a total of 1,100 Crossfires in inventory as of February 1st, which equals to 215 days of inventory at the current selling rate.

This past Friday (Feb 15) I saw a whole transporter full of new Crossfires on I-10 in Florida heading west. I guessing new because they still were covered in white protective plastic. I was going in the opposite direction and almost did a U-y to get a picture but was short on time.

 

There are six new ones at my local dealership. Almost took one of those until I saw the one a bought.

 

Hilview Motors in Greensburg,Pa. has a couple dozen '07s on the lot.

Hi, there is only one, which is a 2006 Xfire Coupe in my whole area of Albany NY. It's been at the dealership where I purchased my 2005 roadster since last November. Nice car though.

 

I'd love to have another one Brad, but only because I'm putting too many miles on mine.

 

None at my current location in Peoria, IL. I bought mine down in Florida.

Asked a few people at the dealership recently to see if they knew anything about this scarcity. Most of them say they know nothing about it but apparently one had been on the lot a few months ago. Not sure what happened to it.

 

1,100 new Crossfires and a 215 day inventory means the prices are going to keep falling. Good news for those waiting to jump in, not so good news for those who already have taken the plunge.

My consolation comes from the fun I have driving. I may never get my money out of it, but its been a total gas so far!

There is one less new 2007 Limited Roadster in SSB 6spd as of last Friday, and I couldn't be any happier for that

 

If Chrysler shipped them all to Australia, from what I hear, they would be sold above MSRP before they got off the boat.

Today was the first time driving into work with it and decided to leave way early to avoid the traffic so I can drive it like its meant ot be driven (within the speed limits of course ) . Turns out to be a perfect day here in Houston t0 drop the top down.. Clear skies with high of 69.. Oh if the weather could just remain like this for ever..

 

I've had my '07 Machine Grey Crystal Pearl Limited 6 spd coupe since 12/5/07....75% of the time I'm starting out in 2nd gear (no need for 1st unless you ...well don't point that gun unless you intend to shoot!)....I've discovered it shifts smoother the higher the rpm level. I've put 4,000 miles on it so far ....have every intent to put 1,000,000 miles on it before I die (Lifetime Powertrain warranty). Lot's of snow & ice here in Kansas City this year....ESP-Traction Control & ABS work great....twice now I've felt the "hand of God" save my *** .....
