Default Easy, cheap, very quick cosmetic

Ok, we all know about that annoying tow hook on the rear of the car. So, if you don't want to cut it, just paint the darn thing. I taped off the body panels around the hook to prevent over spray, then used an etching primer. Once dry, I painted the hook black. It took about 15 minutes total, and now the hook blends into the black under panels. Big improvement, it doesn't stare at me in the face any more.

There is actually a volkwagon tow hook cover that fits our cars with a little modifcation. Most people just bought those painted them and then sliped them right over the hook. Just another option do a search.

I think most track cars have theirs painted a different color.
(The ones I have seen , anyway)

Should've bought graphite...they blend in from the factory

I just happen to really like the blaze red color and it gives a very good contrast against the black.

But the Graphite Metallic is still the fastest!!
