Default Wilwood Big Brake Kit

Hello all,

I have been in touch with Fast Brakes about producing a Big Brake Kit for the Crossfire and we are finally nearing production. The front kit is just about finished, and the rear kit has the machining of the rotors left.
Here are the Specs:

Front
13.25 2 piece Rotor
4 or 6 piston
Wilwood Superlite Caliper
HPS Hawk Pad
Retail: 4 Piston: 1250
Retail: 6 piston : 1650

This is the projected retail price for 3 orders. If we can get additional orders (6 or more) the price will come down.

Rear
12.90 2 piece Rotor
4 or 6 piston
Wilwood Superlite Caliper
HPS Hawk Pad
Retail: 4 Piston: 1250
Retail: 6 piston : 1650

Again, prices are for a low order quantity. Before they go into production the owner would like to make sure there is interest in the product.

I will be offering an initial PREPAID order for the first 6 customers for this product at a price of 1100 for the front and 1100 for the rear (4 piston). Turn around time is 2-3 weeks for the fronts and 60-90 days for the rears.

After the initial run production times will be greatly reduced. There will also be a 10% discount if both the front and rear are ordered together.

The other option he is investigating is to use the SRT rotors and adapting a larger caliper. This will help reduce cost, but the rotor will not be 2 piece.

Please send me all of your qustions and I'll do my best to get you the answers.
You can check out the kits he has already produced here: www.fastbrakes.com

We're looking for as much feedback as possible and will do our best to bring a product to the community that satisfies the majority of customers.

Man you guys are rocking.

Will the rotors be cross drilled and or slotted or both?

How much cheaper would the SRT option be.

great work

Assume you have checked, and the stock Crossfire master cylinder will handle the calipers as far as fluid flow ???

I will definitely buy the front, biggest kit available, rear a possibility.

how significant do you think of an improvement would this create for the SRT-6? what are the specs on the SRT-6? Brakes and also do they come with dust-free ceramic pads?

For the SRT6 the difference would be marginable. The front rotors will only be slightly larger and the rears a tad more then that. The biggest improvement would be in the lighter 2 piece design and better calipers. The pads are Dust free Ceramic HPS Hawk pads.

For the Base/Limited this would be a +4 upgrade with the six pistons and a +3 with the four.

For the SRT a +2 for the six and a +1 for the four.

We also may offer these kits together with the braided steel lines for a discount. This way the entire system is at its very best.

With racing season coming up this is going to be a very popular item.

Once we receive a minimum of three orders for the rears they will start production. The fronts are ready to order.

I thought the Front brakes on an SRT-6 were 14" with 4 Piston Calipers already... Am I wrong? This would be a SICK upgrade for a Limited though...

Anthony,

I am interested in this as I have been looking at doing a C32 upgrade option as well.

I am looking at $ as I may need to replace my wheels as well for some reason I have a couple that are bent. I have no idea why.

Thanks for the pricing as this helps a lot. I will do some further investigation on the calipers that Wilwood offers as I am not as familiar with their quality vs the brembo c32's.

Thanks,

N

BTW, the shot of the HD dealer in your area looked similar to the one in Aurburn MA. I had to double check your location to be sure! LOL
