I'm gathering info to help me decide the best forced induction solution for Crossfire coupe.

Turbo or Supercharger? I haven't seen many kits out there for either solution for a Crossfire.

I don't know much about this engine, so that's why I'm leaving it up to you guys! What are my options? Any idea on cost?

im savin up money for a sts turbo kit. im almost there. if i get this job i want ill hav it in a couple months. and i know a guy who has the kit on his crossfire and its tuned. look at my user gallery for the picture of it. its 2900 for the stage 3 kit and its around 500 for installation. the onlly thing i dont know yet is the price of the tune. but that shouldnt be more than around 700.

 

Tuning the STS kit WILL be your biggest challenge and expense. This car doesn't have the aftermarket support of most cars the STS kit was designed for.

But if you DO find someone to tune the stock PCM to handle the fuel and timing changes needed for forced induction, you be sure to plug them on this forum. We need all the help we can get.

 

i do know a guy that has his xfire turbo'd and tuned. i have his number but i just need to call him and see whats up.

 

any info on this yet??? want to here hp gains? how much boost? etc....
