Crossfire SnowMobile
Finally got a chance to try out the 4 snow tires I put on my daily driver '05 (first real snow of the season here in Jersey) 4:30 AM rushing to catch a plane at Philly and I was quite impresed with the performance of my Crossfire in 3-5 inches of unplowed snow and salted slush. Saw 7 cars off the road on the trip and actually witnessed 2 spin off in front of me - the Crossfire held steady with the traction control and 4 17" Blizzak tires.
I had concerns if the Crossfire would be a doable year round ride and I now have the answer - at least for my area.
I'm sure it wouldn't handle a 14" Iowa storm - but not much does.

I have been getting snow regularly all winter and have not had a problem with getting anywhere in my crossfire. I don't even have the winter tires. I am running on the standard all season continental tires but I did tweak it a little by adding 120 lbs of tube sand in the back. I do have to admit I would rather have a dedicated winter set like you though. Just cant seem to justify the cost since the all seasons do fine in the snow here.
