Default Squeaky Brakes

My brakes squeak like crazy. I pressure wash my front brakes once a week to keep the brake dust out... and clean the rims also with cleaner and a good bit of scrubbing. Here lately I've noticed a squeak when I don't even apply the brakes. It squeaks when I turn either direction when I'm going slow (25 mph and under). Doesn't always squeak just sometimes. Brakes are all brand new... but squeak EVERY time I come to a stop. Not sure what brand of brakes. They were on the car when I got it around 6 months ago. Haven't done much heavy braking so they should still be in good shape. Any suggestions?

I've heard some say they don't put as much Asbestos in brakes these days so they just squeak. (Don't know how creditable that is) But since it's squeaking when I turn, I think something else might be causing it.

Did you do the brake job yourself ? Have the rotors re-surfaced ? Apply the non-squeak coating to the back of the pads ?

Didn't do the job myself and I'm not sure about the rotors. What is this anti-squeak stuff you speak of?

It's a compound sorta like silicone that you spread on the backs of the pads before installation. You can purchase at any Auto Parts store. It would require that you disassemble the brakes and coat the pads. I would also attempt to find out if the rotors were re-surfaced.

Alright I'll look into that. And thanks whoever corrected all my "Squeaky" spellings. Hilarious.
