to everyone here...
i just wanted to say thanks to everyone, i feel i have made some friends here even though our "debating" over modifications sometimes got a lil out of hand lol. i also feel i have gained some trust from a few members about these issues and i really appreciate that. i just hope that once i sell my car i can still be active with this group, possibly meet up with you guys, and maybe help some locals turn some wrenchs lol. anyway thanks for the wealth of knowledge i have obtained and the good times had in advance!

Irwin think twice before you sell your car, after all, they really aren't worth that much. So unless you absolutely need the extra money for a down payment, I'd keep it.
I made the mistake of selling my perfect, all original 1969 "Hemi" Super Bee back in 1975 for $2,400 just to make a bigger down paymet on my first house. As it turned out, I think I lowered my house payment by about $7 or $8 a month, which made it $201 per month.

You're always welcome here Irwin!
you can't leave anyhow...you're an addict. Besides, if you leave I'll be the only a-hole here!
You know you love a good argument!
+Fireamx...$201 a month...wow...when they invented electricity how long did it take you to have it installed in that house!

Irwin, I second +Fireamx, I sold the '65 Mustang I had in high school and have regretted it ever since. I wish someone had kicked my butt when i made that stupid decision...You got something special and it s going to be tuff getting back what you put into it...In the end the decision is yours and you know what's more important for now.

Irwin - the other Pat told me about the soccer ball "incident". I had to give you a hard time about it. I hope you can get down to Burtonsville in a few weeks when the Cruise In start up again. I will keep everyone posted so we can all meet up. I hope at some point you can pick up another Crossfire, its a fun car to own. Sounds like you are doing the smart thing. So good luck with everything and don't be a stranger around here!

Irwin, you've paid your dues and earned your chops. I don't think there
is any reason why you shouldn't continue to post here. If you've got to
take a forced break from driving a Crossfire, it don't mean you can't still
keep up the chat. And, we all know that Crossfires are now in your blood,
so we expect you to be prowling in another soon enough. Good luck!

You may call yourself "the devil" -- but you're really not that at all. You've shown yourself to be a good guy with some very clever ideas, and someone who won't take childish crap from anyone else, either. So please stick around here, and get that badboy SRT, too!
thanks everyone! but i was thinking... i have a drag car im building out of a 90 ranger... if i dropped an srt motor in there would that still qualify me as an owner? lol
