Default Is 2 weeks to long for my car to be transported to me?

Just got a call from the company in Ohio that is transporting my SRT6 and was told it was going to take 2 weeks to get it here....To say the least Im a bit pissed off right now (He pick the car up from the dealer 7 days ago) So by the time my car gets to me here in Utah its going to be on a trailer out in the open for 2-weeks............ Does this seem to long?

It does sound like a long time. I had a 72 Karmann Ghia delivered to me from California and I am in New York State and it took about a week. I had a Jeep Wrangler delivered from PA and it took only a day and a half. It sounds like your SRT was picked up first and the driver has many more pick ups and drop offs across the country. I hope it makes it here sooner for you. It will probably be pretty dirty by the time it arrives. You should have paid a bit more and had it delivered in a covered transport. Good luck and let us know how you are doing with it. Pat

The Dealer shipped it to me for free, And now I know why!!!!! If I find any scratches or dents anywhere on the car it's going right back to Ohio!!!!!

I paid $500 to have mine shipped from Minnesota to Michigan right after New Years 07. I think it took 2 days.
2 weeks seems like a long time.

Maybe it doesn't really take two weeks - you were just told that so the delivery company has time to take your Crossfire on a long joyride through the Southeast, Canada, etc.

Sounds to me like it's being picked up by one truck, unloaded at some central depot, then waiting for another truck that's going your way.

A dealer is only interested in markup - he picks the highest price service and then chooses with the bargain basement option.

I went with my own transport, Chicago to So. Cal in 4 days; dropped of at my work, $100 of the price for paying the driver in cash upon delivery.

Just fly over and drive it home. You'll have it way faster.
