I thought I heard all the comments...
a lot of my friends call it "ratatoulle" cus they say it looks like a rat....i dunnowhy people talk trash when they dont have cars nearly as nice, im guessing deep down inside they are jealous they cant afford the most amazing car on the market for half the msrp
You've all heard of the fox and the sour grapes? Well, you just met him.Too bad he had to try to stand taller by climbing on your back.Perhaps he just got ragged on himself, and was just lookin' to lash out.
Brings to mind the quote from the used car salesman:
There's an *** for every seat!
(Come on editors, can't we even say *** ? They say it on TV all the time.)
There's an *** for every seat!

Hey I owned a monte SS! and it really hurts that....ah who am I kidding that thing sucked ***,and was slower than ****! also I never got any bad comments...I was even followed into a parking lot from a highway and asked I was selling it! I replied no...I just bought it yesterday(and I really did)...he asked if it was fast...I replied faster than that gas guzzling exploder you got there.
After 5,400 miles I'm more impressed with it than ever.....I stare at it constantly.....as I sit here waiting ( my wife drove it to work for the first time today)......(please God no door dents!!!!!! PLEASE!!!)....my stomach is churning......

Back to the thread.....some guy pulls along side of you & tells you your car is ugly? What was the point? I sure hope you made his day because this idiot needs something to brighten his life especially driving that boat of a car!

Wait a minute....it's not impossible he meant just the opposite of what he said.....I remember once I was walking into the hospital I used to work at & the Center Director had just parked his super expensive BMW in front of the entrance & we were approaching the door at the same time....I said something like " Man that's an ugly car" ....trying to be funny....since it was obviously a fantastically beautiful car....I don't think he understood ....in any case....within a week he traded it in on a new Corvette.....maybe he took me seriously?

She always acts kinda put out when she gets home & I ask her how my baby is & she knows I'm not talkin' about her

Shawnkey - Just read your post, hope you are having a better day. When I first got my car I was really excited about it, I still am 3 years later. Anyway I pull it into the pool the day after I got it and I joined a few of the guys at the beer keg (we have free beer on Sunday's) and I'm talking to the President of our HOA and he see's the car and ask's "is that your's?" and he says "Those are the ugliest cars I've ever seen, why would you want one?" I ended the conversation really quick. Two nights later I watched a woman walk into a glass door at the grocery store staring at my car. I figure justice was done. That was the one and only negative I've gotten on the car.
