Default New Crosfire Owner

Just wanted to say hello. Yesterday, I went into my local Chrysler dealer to test drive a Crossfire and got such a good deal I had to buy one. 2006 Inferno Red Limited 6 Speed Coupe.

Welcome aboard, Jocko124. I feel XFires are the best kept secret around. You can't beat the price and just look at the car you can get for short money compared to its competitors.

I've had mine for about a month and just love it. I can't wait for the weather to get better so I can drive it more.

This my first post as well. I picked up a black '05 Limited Coupe on Saturday, and I am very glad I did. This car is amazing, and is worth every head turn I get in my small town. Last night I was up until about midnight installing my aftermarket head unit, amp and subs. I had to bypass the factory amp to wire the door speakers and tweeters to my head unit, but that was a piece of cake after I did some research. I am having an issue though with it. It seems that some how every time I turn the car off, my JVC head unit completely looses everything I have configured, almost like the car is completely taking power away from it. Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks!

Anthony

I am amazed there are any around. The dealers are desparate to get rid of these--I traded in a 2000 Honda Prelude with 85000 miles and bought the '06 limited for 13K out the door!

ahhh.... gotcha. that makes more sense. considering you probably had your 'lude paid off and all the trade-in value was equity... which is good... probably ended up with sticker of 20 i would guess... which is still a great deal... for a car MSRP'ed at 36k...

Looks like the secret is out. Quite a few new owners. Raining here yesterday but drove it anyway. Very little use over this bad winter.
