Seat Belt
OK I haven't heard this one yet on here. My driver's side seat belt connector is so low between the console and the driver's seat that it makes it extremely difficult to fasten. I thought about working up an extension but that would circumvent the seat belt alarm. Does anyone else have this problem?
Just a suggestion, if you contact your Chrysler dealer they may give you one for free. Being a police officer I wear alot of gear on my belt and my crown vics wont fit around me. We have a few intrepids in the fleet and the same problem, can't reach the connector. We contacted the two companies and they sent 1 per car for free. I cant say your dealers will do the same but just a suggestion. But yes it does override the alarm.

I'm going to give it a try with the dealer next week. I know it overides the alarm but at the same time I have almost gotten into an accident fiddling with the darn thing while driving. I would rather go without the alarm. Its a terrible design and have to say that it bothers me more than the infamous cup holder.

Mac92, I followed your suggestion and after being quoted ($25) was given a free extension by the dealer. It works great and saves me all that fumbling when I try to buckle up.
On one of the threads it asked "that is your least favorite thing about the Xfire, and mine was the seatbelt issue. It is a real pain the neck. You spend wasted time trying to locate the connector. I can live with the cup holder but the belt issue is ridiculous!
