which gas do you use for your Crossfire?
unless your car specifically calls for higher octane fue (such as the srt6)l you are wasting your money unless you have significant mods on your engine that would require the higher octane fuel to reduce the change of detonation (such as running an aftermarket supercharger or turbo on a car that came NA from the factory).
I run 93 octane for daily driving and I add Klotz octane booster/oxygenator when at the track to raise it to 98 octane. It is a true octane booster not that crap at the parts store that only raises your octane from 93 octane to 93.1 octane. The klotz is $60 a gallon and raises the octane of gas by 2.5 numbers (93 octane to 95.5 octane) for every ounce you add per gallon of gas. I add 2 oz per gallon to get 98 octane.

only 91or higher ! Why would you want 98 if it runs good on 91-93 does it run any better on 98 ?

I usually do the premium at 92 octane. If I happen to be at a Sunoco station, I use Ultra 93. I've never used the Shell premium gas. Is it better than the others?

Book say premium fuel only (along with notification on the gas door), therefore premium it is!

Something that I thought about. I have a '05 and wonder what octane the previous owner used. Anybody that buys a used Crossfire will always wonder unless you know the owner.

I won't be using any of those after this week......................105 octane FTW(For The Win)!!!
Marathon 93 octane. I won't patronize Shell anymore since their actions following 9/11. But I know a lot of folks on here really like their fuel as well.
I use shell for two reasons, its close to my house and its the cheapest of the 4 stations in my area. I use their 92 octane.

I always fill with 92 Octane. I'd go crazy if I had to deal with 87 octane in my tank.
I've recently been experimenting with adding Toluene to bring the octane up a few points. The car seems to like it a lot down low in the revs.
