That guy is definitely trying to pull a fast one. "Hey, I'll just buy a Xfire for 15k, put as much custom paint cliches as I can, a 1000 dollar lambo door kit, and try to sell it as a 56 grand custom car to some unsuspecting fool!" TERRIBLE! I wonder who put that bid in?

Holy Lambo Batman!

I was just watching the Batmobile sell for $185,000 at Barett-Jackson on Speedvision...maybe this guy is onto something....LOL

Anyway, I can't help but see the similarity....

There's no bids on the car yet.

Starting bid is 39 thousand. Buy it now is 56 thousand 500.

What a tool.

It says "If you want to make heads turn, this is your car..." I want to make heads turn and go "wow, what a beautiful automobile" not "wow, what a way to ruin a beautiful automobile"

This is a BRAND NEW CROSSFIRE COUPE LIMITED EDITION bought straight from a Chrysler dealer & driven to a custom car shop for an amazing & one-of-a-kind collectors make-over including LAMBO doors, custom chrome paint, and custom pearl-red paint over black pearl-paint.(Please note and understand that a paint job this detailed using chrome paint & Lambo doors is NOT cheap...its the price of another small car.) Here are the details included on the car.....air-bags, occupant classification system, driver-side inflatable knee-bolster air-bag, LATCH-ready child seat anchor system, anit-lock 4-wheel disc brakes, break assist, traction control, electronic stability program, tire pressure monitoring display, tire service kit, rear window defroster, touring suspension,.....

WTF i'm sorry, but where in the world are you going to put a child seat anchor... in the trunk? cause there is no way in hell any kid in need of a child seat is sitting in my front seat.... they don't allow it in cars with backseats so i'm gonna go ahead and assume they dont allow it in the crossfire with NO BACKSEAT... that's just messed up... i guess you could put a kid in the trunk? there is an akward conversation coming if you get pulled over with a child seat "securely fastened" in the trunk. haha

Actually, that strap on the back side of the passinger seat is for mounting a child seat. I don't know how it works but that's what I've read here many times.

I think he's referring to the one that's already on the passengers seat.

The bright red steering wheel/column killed it for me. If the paint was toned down some, it wouldn't be too bad.......

Actually, there is no problems with kids in carseats riding in the front seat, with or without a back seat and they do allow carseats in the front seat.. The crossfire's passenger seat has latch and tether anchors designed to strap in carseats with the latch system. The front passenger seat also has an occupant cllasification system that measures the weight on the front passenger seat as well as the position/location of the passenger and can automatically disable the passenger airbags if the occupant is under a certain weight or is sitting in a certain position. The only time you should not use a carseat in the front seat is if the car seat is a rear facing car seat and the car is not equipped with a method to disable the passenger airbag. Otherwise, there's no problems with with car seats in the front. The front seatbelt of the Crossfire also has a rachet mechanism to secure the carseat in place if the carseat does not have latch or if the child is in a booster seat without latch. These carseat features are available on almost all the front seats of every new car, minivans included ... I have taken both my son and daughter for rides in the crossfire in their booster seats and they have a blast..

In addition, other cars such as the Porsche Boxster also have as an available option a specific car seat option that automatically disables the passenger airbag once installed.

i did not know any of that.... interesting. i always remember in years past hearing "horror stories" of accidents with children in a car seat in the front... i guess it was mainly an airbag issue now that you mention it... thanks for the info....

p.s. i still think he is high for thinking he can throw a bucket of paint on a car and want $55k for it. haha

For $56k he could at least put some of those red bats on it and a red light on the roof.

ok i see he brought his starting bid down to $19,000.

i think this may be my fault as i told him i was selling my convertable, and although it didnt have lambo doors it did include the blonde.

We could all 'watch' it in 'My eBay.' Then it might show up on the eBay Pulse as one of the most popular cars on eBay. More popularity + Low production could = price stability? Perhaps.

Here is the Pulse for eBay Motors. It changes all the time.
