Default Trunk Lock Vacuum

My trunk wont lock, and there was a hissing noise from the top of the glass on the right hand side (looking from the rear). I have seen from the forum that there is a vacuum system???. Im not sure what happened or where to look first.

Happened 3rd day outside warranty!!!

Apparently this is a common failure mode. There is a flexible vacuum hose right in the area where you are hearing the hissing sound. I am not sure what is involved in replacing that hose, but that is a good place to start looking.

The air lines are bright yellow and are about 3/16th of an inch in diameter.

I am not sure where the ones in the trunk are, but I saw the ones inside the door panel. Chrysler sells a repair kit, I have seen it on Ebay before. Not sure of the part number.
