Contoured mesh bumper plate.
For as long as i've had my SRT, the mesh bumper plate (for lack of a better word) has been convex. I am speaking of the two grey plastic inserts in the lower front bumper. Anyways, the one on the left side just pops out. It is excessively curved, unlike the other one. Is this something that would be covered by Chrysler's original bumper to bumper warranty?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Since there hasn't been any reponses to this thread, I thought that I would post some pictures to provide more insight about what's going on. Would warranty take care of this? The one on the passenger side is curved more than the other one and pops right out.

It doesn't take much to knock em loose.
Good Luck
Hi Smokey, I have enjoyed this thread and the other about the service display. Mostly I grinned at the gentle pokes at you about your age. At 16, I too, had a car I did not "deserve" (to my credit I did perform manual labor to pay for about 1/2 0f it). The car was the grear-great-grandmother of your Crossfire. Attached is a 42 year old faded picture of that sweet beauty. The point is I kinda turned out alright. But for that to be true, I had to stay alive. Chris L has given you the best advice you will get on this or any other forum.
Oh, and read the user's manual! Your car has features not extant in any other vehicle on the High School parking lot!
Best, Sloreflex

It IS a nice car though!
Yeah Maxcichon; that photo definitely has that vintage look! Time has not been very kind to it. Memory is a funny thing. I can vividly remember my friend taking that picture with his parents Polaroid. He was excited to show off the "instant" picture. Such a trivial event, but the memory is like yesterday. Best, Sloreflex

I've thought about putting a very fine "safety wire" on both grills just to keep them attached to the bumper just in case.

Anyways, I took it to the local dealership yesterday morning. Yes, I took it to a dealership.

P.S. the dealership probably left your baby outside. Just for spite!
P.P.S. And they'll charge you extra for a "Detail"!

mine popped out then but after I went back and helped him off the road and retrieved it, popped it in and haven't had a problem since.
