I'm thinking about getting my windows tinted. My Coupe is white. Does anyone have any photo's of there Crossfire with this done. What % tint might be the better choice.
I touched up a photo of my car in photoshop and it looked pretty cool.

 

Although mine is SSB in color this is with tint.
This is with medium tint on the doors and limo tint on the small back windows and hatch.

Depending what state you live in, the legal number for the front sides here in Florida is 28%. When I lived in Minnesota it was 50% tint. My car currently has 30% to stay legal.

I put 15% tinting on both of my crossfires. On a black car, that shade looks awesome, however, it is not legal.

15% looks about right. According to my State laws it looks like 35% would have to do. I would think 35% on top of the existing window tint would bring it close to 15%.

I looks like the one above but just a tad darker.. I have 13%

 

I think the factory tint is 70, the limit in Pennsylvania. If you put 30 on top of that, your at 21.

We had ours done 30% all around. Attachment is below. It appears darker than they really are. It was a cloudy rainy day.

valk you have one of the coolest tint jobs ive seen. i thought about getting mine done that way. i currently have tint on my car and have no idea if it is 30 or 15. my dealership put it on before i bought it and they are unsure on what it is haha

 

oh and there is no way ntrikit is a cop. however he is correct they will sometimes walk up to your vehicle with there gun out. i had it happen in geneva(valk you know where that is) i had 5%(limo) on my srt-4.

 

I have 15% all around on mine and it's perfect. You can see right through the car during the day if you're behind me, and plenty of visablility at night. Any darker and you'll have problems with night vision, and any lighter you'd sacrafice a lot of privacy during the day. Living in Florida, my car is still pretty hot when I go to get inside it during the day, you got to have it dark as possible.

50% Dark Smoke Tint only on side windows. Legal limit here in Ohio, but I wouldn't want it any darker. Works well for me.

I was told by many tint shops that because our windows are so small, any tint will appear A LOT darker than it really is..

Hell, most of the time my car looks like it has tinted windows even though it has NO tint.
