Default Dinging (?) sound while driving

I'm getting a dinging sound almost like a bell when driving. I was thinking it was the brake pads but it sounds more like a chime. It's not the seat belt warning chime. Anyone have this problem or know the solution?

Thanks.

How loud is it?
Where in the car is it coming from?

Sound is coming from the floorboard area. It might be A/C fan related I think because sometimes I can turn the fan on or higher speed and it will stop. Does the fan stay on all the time even in the "off" position? Maybe leaves have gotten into the fan area. Just guessing..

Not really. It can happen at any speed.

I heard this in my car this morning, I thought I was hearing things. It was very faint at highway speed and it did sound like it was coming from the floorboard area. It sounded like it was to my left under the dash. It also sounds different than the regular seatbelt/lights on reminder.

I have heard a similar sound. Low, almost a humming, but bell like in tone. I have a roadster and figured it was jstt road noise since my ears are only 2 feet from the rear wheels. It also seems temperature related.

And then again my hearing has been off since mife wife boxed my ears when I told her I wanted, no I neeeeeeded, a Crossfire.
