ok i got 3 on the buy list now....7 more to go

i sent an email saying we got 3 lined up and a donor car but more are on the fence about it before they can see what we are getting. i told him about what we wanted from the pics and sent them. i said if that wasnt possible show us waht you can do. so hopefully he sends something that we can see.

So you're signing up without knowing what you may be getting? Would it be better if a pic of what will be produced be posted here, then we can decide to be in the group buy?

we are getting the reqd 10 together and then proceeding. i aint putting no money down until i see anything...right now all we are doing is seeing if there are enough people interested, if there arent 10 people then theres no point to inquire, they dont do custom kits for 1 car....read the first post of this topic.

If you can get 5, I might do the other 5 for you.

the one question i seem to be getting all the time is everyone wants to see a pic of the kit...but no one seems to realize that its a custom kit and it doesnt exist yet (hence no pics of it) and they want 10 people signed up before they start spending time on design and so forth...afterall they are a business. That is why i want to get the reqd 10 together and then approach them saying look we have the reqd 10 that are ready to buy but we arent putting a cent in until we see some preview or picture...me going to them alone or with 3 guys isnt much of a power position. i hope that clears up what we are doing here....the list now stands at 4 with bombo, its finally a chance to get something for our cars....something that doesnt cost a fortune from the uk and will make this car (in my opinion) look like a 100k sports car .

Micho, I understand your point of needing at least 10 to make this group buy work. All we're saying is do we have a pic of a model such in the pics above or the SLK, or any other sample that they would work toward. In other words, if we have 10 buyers I can make this model in the picture to fit the Crossfire.
That way at least you know what you're working towards.

I think he is trying to say that we have to have 10 people intrested and then they will photo shop a desgin they could make for our cars.

So what happens if people drop out after the photoshop because they all don't like it?

I'd be in for SLK style side skirts and the SRT bumper style front end. I'd need to see the design and and know the cost before I commit. Rear diffusers would be cool too.

yea arc hit it on the head, they arent gonna work on a pic or anything unless they are gonna have people to buy it. I sent him that email as i said before that our list is at 3 and more are on the fence but want to see something. i also sent the thumbnail pics and asked if he could do something along those lines. ill watch my email and hopefully he gets back to me soon. and if we do get to the point where we get a pic and someone doesnt like and drop out we have to just find a replacement or if that cant be done just divide that cost by the reamining 9 ($75)...im just guessing here on what they would do so dont take my word for gospel.

Our list is at 5 now with doc....soooo close. if your on the fence go look at the thumbnails again and just imagine those parts on your car, MAN THATS SWEET!!!!

Which front did you send him? With so many posting pics in this thread, it is unclear as to what you sent him.

the 3 thumbnail pics from the first page. the group so far seems to want the bumper from pic 2 and sideskirts from pic 1.

I like this bumber and I am down for it but will we have to modify our hoods like this or will the bumber go all the way up like the one on pic 1? And price?
