Default iPhone connected to factory radio

I'm not sure if this method has been discussed yet, but here it is... I wanted a simple way to run my iphone music through the factory radio. I bought a unit called TripTunes. This unit is a very small converter box which has a power and ground wire and a male and female antenna plug. I hooked up the power and ground, then I bought a connector at bestbuy which allowed me to connect the antenna plug between the radio and the antenna for the car. Once this was done, a 3.5mm aux cable plugs into the converter and the other end goes to the iPhone. Now my music plays clearly through the radio and is controlled through the iPhone. Works with iPods also.

I ended up replacing the radio for $160. The new one is way better than the factory radio and has a nice AUX jack on the front for my Zune. It also has Blue Tooth which works with my phone for hands free.

I actually like the factory navigation radio...I'm sure there are better, but I like to keep a radio stock if possible- just personal preference... everything for the adapter is concealed behind the radio, I just ran the aux cable through the console and up between the seats so I can plug the phone in...
