LoL..I'm keeping the wheels, but the mirrors, just to much chrome. I have 20% tint on the windows I think thats what makes the chrome mirrors stand out to much.

to me, chrome is the most tasteless way to "improve" a cars look. Its like waving car keys in front of a baby. No offense to all the chrome guys, its just my opinion but chrome kind of goes along with lead sleds. once again, I love flat black and hate chrome

That just goes to show how things change. Flat black to most guys my age means you haven't scrapped up enough cash for a paint job.

Good decision. As with all things... Chrome in excess is a bad thing. You could become a chrome addict.

Chrome mirror covers is a matter of personal preference. Personally I don't like the look. I think the mirrors on the XFires look great painted the color of the car. After all, how many luxury sport cars have you seen with chrome mirrors?

Tony, from TVT, installed a chrome grill on my XFire and it looks great. I had thought about putting the chrome side strakes on but felt it wouldn't look totally right without having chrome wheels. Then would I have to do the windshield surround to complete the job so everything would match? Maybe someday, but not right now.

If you want chrome mirror covers, put them on. Don't regret things you did in your life but rather regret things you didn't do. Life is far to short.

I like The chrome covers if all other things like door handles ,windshield surround, side bars, and wheels. I always wondered why no one has come out with mirror covers that match the silver color on the LTD models?
