i know im gonna sound like a total idiot, but could some one enlighten me on how to turn the fog light on...? i know what if u turn the lights **** left u make the small light stay on on one of the sides and i do get the point of that. then when i turn it 2 times to the right it turns the low beams and the eyebrows on, and when turned once right, it only does the eyebrows, and im puzzled here, is it also supposed to turn the fogs on or not... because as far as i could work out the only time they come on is when after driving with lights on u turn the car off and shut the door, then the fogs and eyebrows come on to "illumiate" ur way home...

am i just beeing very stupid or are they supposed to come on after "1 right"

some 1 please help me... i really feel stupid without that knowlage (

 

Pull out on your head light switch.

 

And before you ask, the second notch/stop is for the rear fog light which is a Eurpean thing.

I wonder if backing up is tough with just one reverse light?

 

All this information is in your manual or you can almost always find it here on the forum by using the "search" function.

 

Isn't that 2 "back up" lights (round) and 1 "Rear Fog" light (polygon)?

 

Nope.

The round ones are turn signals, their yellow color being supplied by yellow colored bulbs.

The right "polygon" is a reverse light.

The left red "polygon" is the European fog light.

 

Gotcha'!

So that acts as more of a "one eyed red running light, rear"?

Seems a bit strange!

 

I lived in Europe for 6 years and saw this all the time. Just the left rear fog light only lights up brighter than the tailight so other cars can see you. They have a lot of foggy, dreary weather over yonder.

 

Another interesting note.....it is on the driver's side.....so right-hand-drive countries have the rear fog on the right side.
