Default Headlight Protection Film, anybody use it?

I have been reading up on the various headlight protection films, and they look very promising. They are quite thick and if they protect from impact as well as yellowing/hazing, they are well worth the $$.
Seems to be about $60-$70 for precut. My headlights are almost perfect since the car was used so little, and I want to protect them as much as I can. Figure the thick .040 film is only 5% of the cost of new headlights, it can't hurt.
Has anybody used this type of film on any cars?
"WeatherTech Custom Fit LampGard" is one of the companies, and there are a couple others.
P.S. I think some of them also come with pre-cut Fog Light covers as well.

I installed xPel covers 3 years ago - no yellowing and lights still look new. I also installed over the fogs.

Excellent, I will probably get them for the Crossfire, and my SRX. My father-in-law has a Boxster that needs headlights refinished, maybe I'll get them for him after we are done.

Please keep in mind that for the film to look its best, it must be mounted to a near-perfect surface. Polishing before installation is a must...

Thanks, that is what I assumed, and hoping to protect mine while they are still so nice. I really wanted to know how well they hold up, and also if they come with precut fog light pieces as well. I might just get them straight from Weathertech.

I bought my crossfire 8 years ago. Placed 3M clear bra on the front and covered the lights with the left over. Not one sign of hazing. Look as they did when new. Have purchased 2 cars since and that is the first thing I do to the cars.

I have the Suntek on my headlight and no sighs of yellowing. The best thing about this film is its self healing property.

Is that available pre-cut? And if so, foglights as well? I want to get something on before the salt/cinders hit the road in November/December.

The XPEL set I installed was pre-cut and included fogs.
