For my own hsitorical knowledge, was the Karmann badge on any production models or is it an add on like the powered by MB badges?

 

It's just the Karmann name. So I guess an add on. There are cars on the Forum that shows them under the wing, that they placed on them. Not factory installed.

Someone on the Forum wrote to them, and that's what they have been sending to all of us.

 

I recieved my two decals and 2 badges today in the mail, real nice of Karmann.

OK, so I poked the link and composed a flattering note this morning - MONDAY June 2, 2008. I'll post when I receive the badges and decals.

I'm thinking that maybe one of the Karmann badges on a custom mesh grill would look cool... and, not gum up the body when removed.

Keep your fingers crossed. I bet in the next week or so, you will get your package from them It looks great on the window. Never would have thought to put in on the windows. Humm, maybe I need to write to them again

I recieved my package in the mail yesterday! Thanks for filling out my info for me. Now I can add the KARMANN sticker to the window on the other side. I'm not to sure what to do with the badges yet, definitely not on the outside of the car. I think one KARMANN logo on the outside is enough. Anyways, thanks again for everything.

 

I received two Karmann stickers and two badges.

My one sticker I put under the wing like VALKERDGARY, looks great.

I placed one badge to the right of my shifter, it looks nice and neat, like it belongs there.

I have warehoused the extra sticker and badge for future usage.

I received my 2 stickers and 2 badges last week - placed one sticker under the 'wing' like others have done - it looks like it belongs...didn't want to stick anything to the outside of the car either - put the 2 badges on the doors between the door opening handle and the little speaker there, on each door - taking a while to get used too - blue/red when the interior is all black and gray but they do look like they belong and came w/the car. If I get used to it they'll stay - otherwise I'll pull them off and call it a day - the sticker looks great...no doubt!

 

Man I am still waiting for my Karmann stickers etc.

It has been 3 weeks, but looks like they are slower here in Europe than in the States. Shipment from Germany to Finland takes a hell of a time

 

have got to say that my last reply today was a little bit to quick...
When i arrived from work at home, a nice little package was waiting for me. Now i just have to install them
