Default The Summer Search for my Crossfire...

Ah, yes....Summer '08 is just around the corner. As a high school teacher, my quest for my 05 Crossfire coupe will begin June 13. I've done plenty of research and am looking forward to giving my Miata a rest in the garage....I've grown quite fond of the silver blue color.......Boy, did they make a lot of black ones, or what? Have I left anything out? Any good tips I need to know as I embark on my journey?

Mnay thanks in advance!

Check out the deals at www.stevewhitemotors.com

I just purchased a new 2006 roadster limited at a great price and it was delivered to me free of charge. Ask for Mike Taylor and tell him Paul Johnson sent you.

You said you were interested in coupes. They had about 12 left yesterday and I think some had auto, most are stick.

Go to ebay motors and search for crossfires. See if you can find one being sold by Steve White Motors. Go to their store and search for Crossfires. They are new and fully warrantied. I just got my luggage in two weeks.

Here is another link to their current inventory.

Best and easiest deal I've ever done on a new car. Love it.

Hey Monty, welcome to the Crossfire forum! I remember you from miata.net back when I had my '99 Miata (which I replaced last July with my '05 Crossfire Limited Roadster). Spend some time shopping and get the right car for you - you'll be very happy with it even though it's a very different animal than the Miata.

Hey, Thanks, Mike-in- Orange... Wow! It appears as though you and I have embarked on the same automotive journey...Miata to Crossfire....Can't wait. I test drove an 06 Blue from CarMax about a month ago and loved it. Looking forward to getting in on all of the fun.....

Yes, new limited Crossfires have an item on the sticker called Touring Gear which is Crossfire luggage that fits the car and has Chrysler emblems on them. Looks very cool.

Check out the for sale forums. I think several were for sale just recently. If you purchase a new limited you would get it free, well not free it comes with the car.

I certainly didn't start the movement as I've seen several other members here who have mentioned moving from the Miata to the Crossfire. I, for one, have never looked back!

Welcome to the forums, Monty! Good luck with your search for the perfect Crossfire to make you smile. They are great cars and fun to drive. Besides that, they are great on gas. I've been averaging 26 mpg with my 6-speed roadster.
