I really like the look. Other cars have used the monochrome look although with monochrome the grill would be the same color as the car.. There have been other threads on painting the grill black, here's a good "how to"

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ht=black+grill

I think that if I did the painted grill bit on my car I would get a used grill and paint it black and have my stock grill to put back in if it was an issue at resale or if I decided to go back to stock. I think the grills are really easy to change.

Just had my car in for a touch up. I had them repaint the grill using the same black as the car complete with clear coat finish. I really like how it turned out. Really highlites the brushed trim. Wasn't my original idea. I have seen 2 others that already had it done at a Chicagoland GTG. Every black car should have this done.

Not sure that black (flat black?) on another color really works for me.

I like it black. It matches the "black" of our head lights.

Those look nice. I already popped the grill out to see how easy it was, it took 2 seconds.

Nice contrast on a light colored car, not sure it would work as well with another color but it sure looks nice with the silver.
