Default Crash Safety

My youngest son will be leaving for college next year. My thought was to give him my '04, but my wife is concerned about crash safety. While I've searched, I've been unable to located any information on the crash safety scores.

Any help?????

Don

The Crossfire has 5 star driver and 4 star passenger safety ratings.

Thanks.

With it being built by Mercedes, I thought that its ratings would be good.....

Just look at all the pictures on this forum of the deer & tree kills. This car looks like it can take a lot of punishment.

There was a member post last month from a guy who dropped his water bottle in his lap and when he fumbled for it, nailed a lightpost at 60. He walked away with only a couple bruises.

I'm thinking about getting one of these for my son, too, for college, especially if he heads to Florida. I'll just have to keep him away from Fiery Lauren.
