Default A black grill on a black srt?

Would it be possible to sand and paint the chrome grill? It looked good on my black BMW with blacked out kidneys but I would like to see what it would look like.

Are there any pics of this color combo?

Thanks

I've actually seen a black chrysler grill - I can't remember which vehicle it was on, but I thought it looked good. I started a thread but I there were no decent responses.
Do a search, I think somebody has done it on here, and posted pics.

Just found a pic of what I was looking for, not sure I like it. What bothers me most about the grill is the Chrysler emblem at the top of the grill. It looks like something that belonged on a car built 60 years ago not on the contemporary styling of the XF.

What I'd like to do is just paint the Chrysler emblem only and leave the rest of the grill chrome.

Any good photo shoppers out there who could help me out, I'd appreciate it!

you can get duplicolor smoke color metalcast which is semi-transparent and paint your grille and emblems. it makes it look like "black chrome" and looks fantastic. it is very easy to use, i used the red metalcast on parts of my engine of my last car and it appears annodized.

I'm talking about the circle (emblem) and the wings extending out to the sides - the entire top part of the grill bothers me.

Thanks mrphotoman, I'll do a photo search and see exactly what you're talking about.
