there are not in fact 76,047 crossfires. the numbers are not sequential. they skip around between years and i'd be willing to bed there was never an ...00001 VIN. Just saying.
Angel,
I'm curious as to this answer as well. I know there are 2016 SRT's made, however the coupe/roadster breakdown I don't know. As for the N/A's I personally believe the number is somewhere in the 40,000 range, but cannot find out the exact numbers. Again, coupe/roadster and limited/base numbers I have no clue on. Hopefully someone does.
Wikapedia has a rough estimate 2003=35,700; 2004=28,000; 2005=12,500; 2006=4,805; 2007=2,000. I don't know where they got these production numbers from, but I'm sure this is world wide. Note:Cars produced in one calender year may be marketed as the following model year. This numbers should include the SRT's also. If this is true, that would put the number at 83,005.
This link also had some info.

ok, riddle me this batman. how is that possible? We know that the last xfire produced is 76,047.... that would be even if it was sequential in teh build numbers that there is somewhere around 7000 xfires missing...this is by no means a knock at you....i think wikipedia needs to do more research... i wonder if i can call chrysler customer service and ask them... i'm going to go look into that.

The Last Chrysler Crossfire has Come off the Line...RIP Crossfire

Last month ChryslerHistory-of-Chrysler Sep-07
announced plans to kill four of their existing models, the CrossfireATI Crossfire
, Pacifica, PT Cruiserhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_PT_Cruiser Convertible and Dodge Magnum. Well today the last Crossfire was produced in Germany.
After nearly five years of production and 80,000 Crossfires, the lasthttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last one has been produced. Although it was still being produced Chrysler actually stopped taking orders for the Crossfire early last year due to declining sales. Last year only 8,216 Crossfires were sold compared to 14,665 for the year before.
Now we'll have to wait and see if Chrysler has anything in the works to replace the Crossfire. In addition we will have to wait and see which of the remaining three vehicles will receive the ax next.

Hadn't heard that but I wouldn't doubt it. I also heard the run was supposed to be 04 through 07 and yet we have 08's?
Actually now that I think about it the 04 models, many were built in 03 while the 08's I hear have 07 build dates.
Also my 1000th post!

I don't remember where I saw it on the forum but I think the numbers for the SRT/6 were 2016 for the Coupes and 928 for the roadsters for a total of 2944 cars produced.
