Just got a Crossfire today. It was a long & tedious battle with the owner's leasing company; everything from messed up paper work to fax machine break downs... but finally after a month, I got it.
It is a 2006, 6-Speed base black coupé with 21,000 miles. I am living in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida right now and not too many Crossfires around here. I have seen maybe 5 or so. A lot of japanese imports, MBz, occational NSX, Lambos and Ferraris... those rich, older beach guys
I was going to go 350Z because I love them until I realized how many there are. But I am moving to Illinois soon (Champaign) for school so her and I will see a lot together haha.
But any ideas wat to check out first? I am fairly good with cars; mechanical engineering major... but new to this one. I checked some of the posted threads already and will definitly fix the water/rust issue asap. But this car is a dream... the owner before me leased it since it was new, and older guy and drove it mostly highway miles.
So, just looking forward to a long future with the car!

Welcome from another Illinois member.
You will have a hard time finding time to study once you start school here because you will always want to be out with the Crossfire.
Good luck with both and again Welcome here.
