Default Drain Plugs - Dealer Installed

I recently purchased an '07 coupe.

Digging through the "trunk" I discovered a set of four rubber plugs which were supposed to be installed by the dealer at delivery. They came with an instruction sheet (drawing) as to where they were to be placed.

Well, I went back to the dealer to have them complete their pre-delivery preparations, and they did not know where to shove the plugs even with the drawing, ( I had suggestions, but kept quiet) and then they lost the drawing which was enclosed with the plugs.

Sigh, I can't imagine what they would do on a major repair. Thhs car is a mystery to them..

Anyhow, does anyone have the drawing which shows the proper location of these 4 plugs, or can anyone shed some light as to where they go and what they do.

Thanks I appreciate the assistance.

It saddens me to read this..................just the shape of the plugs themselves is a dead giveaway as to where they are supposed to go on the car. Tell the tech to put the car on the lift and put the "round peg in the round hole and the square peg in the square hole".

I had the same thing on my SSB. I dont have the drawing anymore but one goes just in front of the rear wheel well on the bottom of the car and the other goes in the front wheel well in front of the spring, both sides of the car.

Thanks MikeR,

It turned out to be as easy as oval plug in the oval holes.

We had to take the plugs out of the wring holes and replace them.

One more question, since the Chrysler dealer seems lost with this vehicle...

THere is an additional round access/drain hole in each of the front wheelwell (07 coupe), that now does not have a plug in it. Should it be covered or open?

Thanks all for the information.

Bruce
