Default Inside of Tailpipes...

Is the inside of the tailpipes stainless steel? What is the best way to polish the inside?

I know alot of guys here clean and polish the inside of the tails... but I don't like seeing a black round hole in a chrome polished square tip.

I cleaned, degreased, and then used high temp gloss black spray.

~ i used "nevr dull" wadding polish (non-abrasive) once a month or so to maintain the shine.

Same here, but I used a flat black high temp paint. Looks much better IMO.

Same as Fritzauf. Mine were loaded with corrosion when I got the car. The black background with the silver trim really stands out. Not to say I don't like em clean and shiny as well.

2005 Coupe SRT6 #43425

But, the SRT is painted black inside the pipes. Why would you want them chrome?
