Well Looks like the car has a new owner.... Its me

I wish I had seen this post before I took the car as a partial trade.... The guy who I got it from said that it was just hit on the passenger side front... guess we have a different opinion of where the side and front begin, lol.

NE way This is my first post on this forum and I hope the car will hold up. 41,xxx miles now and at least I enjoy it.

Mike, it may just be wording. The pics show the car was hit on the front, passenger side. From the after pics it looks like he did a very good job of restoring the car. Good luck with it and hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of do ours.

Well i didn't buy it from racermp... I got it from the guy who got it from him. It does seem like he did a good job though (I searched all his posts and he seemed to know what he was doing).

Air Bag deployment has nothing to do with a car being totaled. Most states dictate a vehicle as being totaled once its required estimate of repairs reaches 75% of the cars market value. Air Bags are very expensive, so they do push a car over the edge of being totaled quite often, but deployment doesn't automatically mean it's totaled.

the state has no right to total a car, an appriaser (insurance company) will re title the vehicle totaled if the damage is 75% or higher of the vehicle book value, and only if they buy it back from the owner.

this vehicle did not go thru insurance, it was abandoned at a storage facility for a year.

i replaced the drivers airbag with a new one before i sold it. needs a dash pad and passanger airbag( 600 for both, 400 for dash new and 200 for airbag used) and 60 or so for the module.

Umm.. It's cool that you're bringing a crossfire back from the brink of death, and saving it from having to go off to the crusher, but with the prices of crossfire's now, wouldn't have made more sense to buy a used one, with less miles, maybe newer, and not in an accident for a few thousand more?? I mean prices for Srt-6's are unbelievable, and if I didn't live in wisconsin with winter coming up- I would be driving one right now, instead of my Evo

Passenger side footwell under the carpet and foam. Remove 3 plastic nuts and flip the metal panel backwards and you'll see it in all its' glory along with the amplifier and TCM.
