Another new owner!
Hi! I'm a new owner (since yesterday) of an 06 Machine Grey Limited.
I keep going to the garage to make sure I wasn't just having a dream!
A co-worker showed me a pic of the just produced Crossfire a few years back and I thought they looked great but I didn't keep up with them until about a year ago. Since then I've been dreaming of buying one and debating on a color. I was lucky enough to decide on exactly what I wanted on a Friday afternoon and the following Tuesday was driving mine home!
I hope everyone here realizes what an excellent resource this forum is so thanks to everyone contributing great information and advice.

welcome to the forum, glad to see another new owner as excited about the xfire as well all have been since day 1. definately browse the forum to find your local owners club. you'll meet some great people for sure.

So I've driven nearly 300 miles since Tuesday and every one is better than the last! This is really a great car.
I wasn't completely sold on Machine Grey as the color (it ended up as a color choice compromise with my wife) but I couldn't be happier with it. There seems to be a lot of blue that comes out from different angles in variable light that's just awesome.
The only problems so far are that I think I've got a leak in the link that is supposed to lock the trunk and there is an issue with the finish on one of the wheels.
I get a hissing sound from the trunk after a global lock but the trunk never actually locks. The alarm will sound if I open it after that.
I'll post a pic of the wheel finish issue soon. Not sure what if anything can be done about that one.
Oh, and I'm located in Ohio about 10 minutes south of Canton.

Machine Grey (sometimes called "Almost Black"), gives the car a certain mysterious ...."aura" . After 8 months I still spend time just staring at it....watching it change color .......check it out in a parking lot at night under those lights.....weird.....cool!

Welcome and nice picture of your car - great color. I'm another new Ohio owner of SRT and have now driven 600 miles (Odometer just broke 2000 miles). One month of ownership and I"m also going out to the garage to make sure it's still there.
