Couple photos for the black coupe club. + Giant wallpaper
Good old generic water drop shots, took these a long time ago and just found em now. I have found the ride in this condition (somewhat) a few times and never got any pictures because the camera was inside the car...open door=soaked interior+ water free car. Finally caught it and only caused a couple minor waterfalls before taking pictures.

Thanks! was just looking for something new to stick on the desktop and figured I'd share. Wax isn't anything special, picture was prob taken about a month or two after laying down some Meguiars Carnauba Wax I picked up at Auto Zone. Should be one you can pick up pretty much anywhere. Can't say I have used anything else so I am not sure how long it lasts by comparison but it seems to protect for a looong time. I wash frequently (hand on weekends spray during the week) as it has no inside home and it still beads up very nice after months of abuse. http://www.meguiars.com/?liquid-car-...m-Carnauba-Wax

Great shots Airscape, thanks for sharing those. Would it be possible to get a hi-res version of the first shot? Also, would you mind if I passed some of these pictures around here at work (I work for Meguiar's in case you weren't aware)?

Nice pictures.
One more thing you can try is to shoot the pictures from the inside of the windows. Get really close to the rain drops, but focus to the image reflected inside the raindrop, instead of the droplets itself.

what kind of camera did you take those with my wife has a nikon d80, i think it takes 11 megapixel pics or somewhere around those lines but her pictures do not come out that well

And yes feel free to do with them as you wish, I love the product. On a side note, whatever team of people came up with the scent for all the products needs to get some extra cash, it smells so good.

Here are some others from that day, not as cool / non car related but a better look at the whole thing.

It does have a really good sensor inside (as with most canons) so picture quality is really good. The trick with these photos (most) is that they were taken in macro mode. Aka set the camera up to take extreme close ups. The focus is really narrow and the lens is pretty much sitting on the car. If I had her camera and took the same shot they would look even sharper. I'll stick up a shot that was taken normally at full resolution and you will see the quality is night and day. If she would like to give it a try just turn the dial on top of the D80 to the little flower looking icon, stick the lens up close on something and snap away.
on a side note she lost the battery charger and the camera has been sitting on our office desk for 3 months. and she tells me the crossfire is a waste of money.
