Just because one car looks good or acceptable with stripes or a hood scoop does not mean all cars will look good that way.

Noooo comment. (snort snort) I like stripes, but, you better have the car to back them up. Thats the only problem I see. Stripes mean fast, all business. Stripes on a car that can't back them up are like ladybugs on steroids. For stripes you have to have headers, cams, you know. No mods? Polka dots are more appropriate.

I am sorry you think the crossfire with the stripes and flames looks fantastic, I for one think it is in extremely poor taste. I feel it is terrible to slap cheap vinyl on a nice car and ruin its looks. Then again I think the hood scoop on your car does not flow with the stock lines at all and makes your car look really goofy. What do I know though. Regardless, if the owner likes it that is all that matters, just ignore the snickers and giggles as you drive by.
Honestly, as long as you (the owner) likes it that is what is important.

damn...not even I like it...and thats saying something there...I like when people do things that dont go with the flow of the normal group...makes the car more individual, but the cheesy flames gotta go...the stripes, well maybe, not on my car, but maybe they could work...as far as +fire's scoop, i really like it, but think it could be more aggressive looking, but not to worry, i will be doing that myself.
I think adding mods to your car that are subtle and tasteful is the best way to go. You can not just slap something on there and think it is going to look good without thinking it through. I always love something different but there is different good and different tacky/bad.

Again, I completely agree with you. Just exactly what do you know?

Or all the people on woodward (over 2 million people) who look at it and yell stuff like "sweet", "that looks bad a$$", or "look at that cool Crossfire". The first time I saw a pic of +fireamx's car I was not sure if I liked it or not. Then I saw it in person for the first time last year, That thing looks GREAT in person. The car has a totally new profile now, and actually works pretty damn well.
You shouldn't judge until you've actually seen it in person. Pictures don't always tell the whole story!
The stripes and flames are interesting. This helps in determining what exterior changes would look good on these cars. What I wish chrysler had done with the car was to leave the split windshield, and the frontend exactly as the concept car. Personally I think that would of made a great looking car that much better.

There is no need to take offense, I just think it looks out of place from the front. From the side it looks okay I guess. It is possible I would change my mind if I seen it in person and if I liked it I would tell him great job. If not, I would say it is not for me but what is important is that he likes it. I am sure a lot of people out there do not like my cars but all that matters is that I like them.
Regardless, this thread is about a crossfire with flames and stripes lol.
