I am impressed ~~~
Well I've had my '04 XF now for three weeks and I must say I'm not easily impressed. That said I am really impressed with not only this fine moto car but the Reno Chrysler/Jeep dealer I bought it from.
First off this is an exceptionally clean car with 31,700 miles on the clock. Today I got courious as to if the air filters needed to be replaced ... clean as new. I had figured the dealer had just changed the oil before selling it but looks like they did a full service. As I said not usually impressed, especially with car dealers but I stand really impressed with this one. Also discovered while poking around the engine bay, two spark plugs per cylinder
didn't expect that and the way the air intake hoses are in front of the engine sucking in all that cool air.
Other three week impressions, 29.2 mpg on a recent road trip. Getting up to 110 mph really fast in sixth gear and very smooth
And did I mention the fun and wow factors ?
I now understand why so many of you all love these cars. I do believe we have the makings of a classic.
Enjoy the ride, I sure as hell am.

You're fortunate to have found a dealer who knows how to treat a fantastic car right. They are a lot of fun...and even in 6th mine jumps from 70 to 110+ pretty quickly. The SRT6 is just wicked, scary fast by comparison.
Enjoy those open straight desert roads. Is it true there are places in NV where they don't enforce the speed limit?
