Talking Germany Assembly Line Pictures

Not sure if these have been posted before. (If they have been, just humor me and look again!) Pretty cool to see.

I don't understand how the last picture shows chrome wheels and painted grille?

That's from JD's Flicker page, go to page 19 and 20 and you'll see pics from Carlislie 07 meet.

This picture gets me every time though.. red seats, but not door panels / console / steering wheel / etc...?

And as anyone member pointed out.. this one too... grill is painted red, white seats, black windshield trim, white door panels, chrome wheels, red side stakes..

Wonder where these cars are?

I like the one that shows the SLK in the background on another parallel line. No doubt about it - they're related.

Check eBay, there's always auctions for those seats.

I think it's this photo. I've never seen that color SLK on the road.

I thought that looked like JD's car. Hopefully he'll get another one and come back. Thanks for the pics, some I've seen before, some not.

Hey, does anyone know why the front fenders are pre-primed during assembly?? Is it a protection thing for installing other parts before paint!

Cool pictures, Thanks.

By the way, I actually like the combinations of red seats and black panels & steering wheel. I agree the entire cedar interior is a little too much.
