clutch
i omly have 3000 miles on my 2006 crossfire and i was racing with the porsche club went to downshift and my cluth disengaged but could notdowmshift when the car came to a stop the clutch depresses about 3/4 of the way to floor wont go far enough to hit safety swith or put car in gear broke hydraulic line at fittig under car and pedal than goes to floor wondering how throwout bearing works is there anoter slave in bellmousing thanx for reply
Sounds like a btoken clutch fork from your broken english. If you car is still under warranty, (by time) and the disc or pressure plate are not the issue, it should be covered. If they have to put a new clutch in it, then you have to pay. They are only covered for 12 months 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. If it does need a new clutch I would recomend an aftermarket performance one such as Spec. I just don't like the feel of the clutch, especially while driving spiritly.
P.S. The only Porche your gonna beat is a boxster, and don't tell me your a good driver either, because based on your issue, the argument doesn't fly.

not here to argue or brag but yes i do run well with most of the porsches but i am also running 18 inch all the way around with 80 tradwear pilotcups and the 3000 have all been on track with exception of first 250 i have been to dealer they wanted 500 tear down fee to let me know if it is under warranty thought that was b.s so i will do the work myself any suggestions on aftermarket clutces thanx
