Checking the fluid level on the Auto Trans
Every car that I have had with an automatic transmission has had a way of checking the fluid level i.e. a dip stick.
I have looked but have not been able to see were this might be located.
Can you let me know were I should be looking or If the Crossfire Auto's don't have one just how do you check the fluid lever?

Re: Checking the fluid level on the Auto Trans
Checking the automatic transmission fluid level is a big pain. The procedure is described in the Crossfire Service Manual (available here, see p. 21-294). First, you need a special dipstick. You can order one here. Then, you'll need a code reader that can get the automatic transmission fluid temperature from the car's computer and a replacement dipstick tube cap (you have to break the old one to take it off). I don't have a code reader as I don't know which ones will give the transmission fluid temperature. If you find one, please post it.
