Default Curious about number of SRT-6 classified ads

I was looking at the classifieds in this forum and noticed that the majority of the ads are for SRT-6 Crossfires. It just seems unusual to me that less than 5% of the Crossfires produced represent such a high percentage of those actually for sale. Is there a particular reason for this?

I would say there are more Limited owners who might want to upgrade to a SRT model rather than a Limited owner buying another Limited, unless it's a secondary car or, in my case when I sold my Limited, being purchased for someone in the family.

I used to have a Limited and bought a SRT about a year and a half after ownership and driving a SRT. I think the best place for a SRT owner is to sell it on here since Limited owners already know what the Xfire is like sans 50% more power.

Agree. So few folks know what a Crossfire is and even fewer appreciate the SRT6. The forum is the ideal place to address the educated owner or owner-wanna-be.

Also think about it this way, people who want an SRT-6 are probably interested in the car more so and would more so likely be here on a forum. Look in places where "normal" non-as-much-enthusiasts place ads and you'll find that its mostly the Coupe and base cars.
