Re: Tire Mileage
10k on my original conti's. I'm replacing the rims/tires with winter rims/tires so they will be off for the winter. In the spring I don't think they will be going back on, either the rims or the tires that is. I would be willing to be they have another 2k on them before wear bars.
Anyone need stock rims....see me in 6 months.

Re: Tire Mileage
I think the damage to mine must have come before the 300 mile mark when I got the car. Punkin you are lucky .... I finally found someone who had a Costco membership that would help me out and we sat down to the computer two weeks ago Friday night and they were already off sale. I've got a practically new set of fronts Fenwick gave me but my fronts are wearing a lot better than the rears. If that deal goes back on please post it for you regular Costco members, please!

Re: Tire Mileage
I just came back from my tire dealer, I got 27k on my original Cont's and they need replaced. Looking at the Goodyear F1's, they quoted me about $1200 out the door for all 4, does that sound about right? I can't believe the low mileage these tires get...I have an '04 Coupe, all stock...
Re: Tire Mileage
I always run winter tires from December to April but even so, my Contis are toast at 28k (43000 km). I bet that no more than 20000 miles went on the Contis. Actually the fronts are still OK but since they are five years old Im going to ditch them anyway. Im in for new tires in the spring. Ive heard that the GoodYears are good and so are the Pirellis.

I just looked up the price of the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric on TireRack, and they are currently on special for $846 for the set. If you add in ~$200 for install and balance, that brings you up to $1046.
So you can easily save yourself ~$200 buying them from tire rack and getting them installed locally.
If you were looking at the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, then the set would cost you $862.
