Stopped into the body shop that painted my door handles last spring for me to get a quote on getting the AMG skirts painted and installed. Owner stated if I let him take it for a short spin again (with me in it) he would paint and install the new ones for $190.00. He will be using OEM paint with the flex additive and 4 coats of clear. I told him I would drop them off in a couple months for painting and bring the car in for the install in spring. He stated just to hang on to them until spring that he needs the car to get a perfect match to the car as he did with the door handles. He claims that in some cases that when a car is painted there can be a slight variation in the color from the factory.

grt deal frank, I got your PM...well, I too, have other things to get painted as well....so Jonny, sounds like frank and I are bailing on the paint job....thanks though...

Money sent Jonny. BTW the shipping address that paypal tells you is not where I want them shipped, Cant do much with side skirts in Japan! lol

Just a heads up... Anyone who wants a set since the group buy is full, they can still recieve a set at the same time as the rest of us, Only at partial group buy pricing $400 not the $350. In 3 months these are going to be listed at $450 a set. For the reason of there is so much more work into these then we ever thought there was going to be, and we are going to cover the additional cost to have more made on top of the group buy for others who are waiting to see how they look on after the group buy. This will insure no one will have to wait 1 month to have a set made.
