Car Value - Jesus How low can it Go
i got my 06 , 22k. now its worth 10k, i only have 15k miles on it. then when iw as going to try to buy a WRX STI i couldnt find one with miles under 50 k for less then 30 thousand. -_-.....gay
I gave <$23K new 07 6spd Limited in Dec 07, zero defects at 17K miles, Lifetime Powertrain Warranty, loving every minute in it.....zero regrets!!!!!!
I may qualify for the lowest out the door price here. I had always had a lust for these cars when they first appeared, so it came to me as the deal of a lifetime when back in September an '04 with all the bells and whistles and 30900 miles on the clock cost a total cash price of 393.33
Of course that doesn't reflect the '08 Scoin XB I traded as well. Still the asking price was $13900, quite the deal and what a great ride!
BTW Miss July can be seen in the new '09 calender

When my 96 Viper GTS was new, it stickered for nearly $70,000.00. Many people paid 5 to 10k more for them when they first came out. Now look at what one just like it is bringing on EBAY.

I guess when you think about it, all things are relative.

Lets face it , cars are a losing value proposition. They only depreciate and even when they are held an not driven, and then they are expensive trophies.
Enjoy your ride. Recognize that there will always be a better deal out there!
The great news is that they are no longer producing the crossfires after the 08 model so we will have a rare quasiexotic!

I've been out bid already. That's ok, keep the Viper.
I guess you will have to count me in also, found mine on a Ford truck lot. She is an '07 coupe with 11,800 miles. Asking price was 16.995, after my trade in she cost me only 9,150. The best car deal I ever made!

I traded my 2004 Loaded Crossfire limited for my present SRT Crossfire and financed $29,000. to boot. But I must say I have never regretted it from the financial aspect. I love this car. From a guy who has owned, well you name it and I 'll bet you I have had one.of the 50 soom cars this car has to date been my favorite one.
I only get pi$$ed off when people assume everyone one purchased them once they became so cheap. Some of us, when we see something we like, we'll take it at any price. I will never compare what my car can do to another due to the price difference.
Keep em looking good and who knows maybe the price will go up one of these days.
Mike.

The only thing that will rise is the cost of parts and pride of ownership.
I bought my 2005 roadster in Nov. 2007 with 7,200 miles on it and paid $20,000 Best thing I ever did. You buy it because you love it, not because it will appreciate in time. Crossfire people LOVE owning the darn thing. nuff said.
I stumbled into my crossfire. I was looking at cars in the high thirties and the dealer showed me a new, leftover (8-07 build date) for $21K. I bought strictly on eye appeal and percieved value. Now that I've owned it for awhile I feel that I got the deal of a lifetime. Fifteen thousand off of sticker is insane. It is sad that many paid close to sticker, and sadder yet to see the demise of this car. Regardless of what one paid, we are all bound by the love of this car and who can say how long this "cult" will survive. I for one could be offered twice what I paid and would sell in a heartbeat and buy two other leftovers to have a spare. At 21K what can you buy on todays market?
Same here i had been looking at a nsx an just happen to check out crossfires. When i saw the srt an read about it on the forum. I knew it was the one. HAD TO HAVE IT.
I purchased thru finance, a new 2006 Limited coupe in October 2007 for only $20,000. But I really had my heart out for a SRT-6. A month later being curious,I logged onto Auto Trader. Holiday,Florida listed a new 2005 SRT-6 with only 54 miles. Hickory,NC listed a 2005 SRT-6 with 25,000 miles. (Just for kicks only),I sent both dealerships the same E-mail. I only offered $22,000 for the new and $22,000 for the used. This was back in November of 2007. After opening my E-mail the next day,I suddenly went into TOTAL FINANCIAL PANIC. Both dealerships said I had just purchased a SRT-6. Thats 1 Limited Crossfire financed,2 SRT-6's to be financed within the week,3 X-wives,4 kids, and one girlfriend with a apartment maintenance mans salary. Oh My Gosh! I drove the Limited to CarMax. They offered me $19,000 for this car I had owned for one month. Only a thousand dollar loss. I said SOLD and all the money went to the finance company payoff within 3 days. Hooked up a trailer to the Squirrel Crusher 4X4 Dually to pick up each car. My 54 mile storage car now has 175 miles. I uncover it,warm it up, then take a short trip around the neighborhood monthly. The other now has a total of 35,000 trouble free miles. I've never had the thoughts of selling either! I just keep on making two car payments a month with full coverage insurance. Ouch!.... Don

I can't think of better cars to own for $22,000 each. My 16 year old son keeps eyeing one of them. Told him to take over the payment book and it's his,but he said he would wait awhile. "Right",After its paid off I bet!
