Is this a fair price?
Re: Is this a fair price?
No! Next door in Nampa, ID I gave $22290 for a new 2008 limited coupe in late July. My dealer has no more but I would ask if he can get one at a much better price than you are quoted if you wanted me to.
The car was discounted $14,000 when I bought it. That is why I am "Cheap Ride".

that price is way to high, i had to get mine trailered in from texas 2008 coupe limited in black 6sp and my local dealers were quoting me around 22-23k i got it for 17k and paid 270 to trailer it from texas to missouri. Auto was going for 18.5k and auto with nav was 19.5k.

My local dealer is: Peterson's Stampede @ 208-475-3000
I remember that they talked of taking back a leased Crossfire but I never saw it, that was July though so could be gone.
My salesman has gone to another dealership so I don't have a name to give you, sorry.
Earlier I saw several Crossfire listed with dealerships in the Couer d Alene area so google it and see what you come up with. Chrysler is discounting them heavily.
Good luck, Jim

I would suggest you contact Grapevine Chrysler in the Dallas TX area. They are selling new Limited Coupes with automatic transmissions for around $19,000. According to the dealer, they are sending the remaining inventory to auction early next week. There is a thread on this from a few weeks ago, by the way.
Transport costs are down significantly since the price of fuel has dropped, by the way. There's a great link for highly rated carriers if you are interested.

Gunther, as stated, that is way to much to pay. And dont be afraid to look at used ones. These are great cars and you could find a great deal on a low milage used one. I just searched autotrader a week ago for fun and there are a number of cars in the WA, OR, ID area to choose from. Where are you in WA? I am just west of Portland.

Re: Is this a fair price?
i looked at a whole bunch of transport companies over 80 atleast and got all sorts of quotes. some where extremely shady and would quote you a price and then charge you tolls, or other duties and hidden charges. Phoenix was upfront and honest great service, they had high ratings and actually the lowest price out of everyone. The price was 285 per car, $100 deposit once they pickup the car and balance upon drop off. but the driver only asked for like 170 balance per car.
Prices i got ranged from 300-725 per car.

Re: Is this a fair price?
Thanks for the information! I live in WA too and have not found a real reasonable price on a new Crossfire. I've checked out a couple of used ones and they are just ok. Looking up the VIN showed they were rentals which explains the damage found on the cars. I'll look into the dealer in Texas blowing them out and hopefully the transporter isn't excessivly expensive.
Re: Is this a fair price?
yes you are correct deposit was 100 per car, give them a shot they are really easy to deal with. i placed the order on monday and by late tuesday they had a truck willing to pick up the cars and on thursday they picked them up and i got it a 7am saturday. amazing time frame.
