I bought my car to be a daily driver, I could never see myself saving it for a nice day!!
I'm too lazy (and warm) to go outside to take a picture, so here it is from my window haha.

Well, you could always put some "BACK OFF" logo's on your slushflaps.

There's a city in Columbia named Missouri? Cool.

I don't think that sand in the bags is the norm, though...

I just took my daily driver out to Wal-Mart for an ice scraper. Ironically, there is about an inch of ice on the roads covered by another 5 inches of snow. It was my first time really driving in these conditions... good thing I have a lot of patience. I was surrounded by FWDs and it felt like they were all laughing at me while I fish-tailed back and forth. I cannot wait for my drive to Florida this weekend! I can only hope it will be snow free the whole way.

faiz,

i already did this in mine. home depot has tube sand. i bought 3 50lb bags and they fit nicely over the rear axle. it has helped a lot.

p.s. they are like $3.47/bag or something stupid cheap. plus, if you get stuck you can rip open a bag and lay down sand to help with traction. multi-purpose for the win.

yup i just picked up a couple to assist in traction and they were like $4.74 each so not bad at all. i have relieved some air out of my tires to assist in traction i think i had something like 34psi i am at like 29-30 psi. what should i be running in the snow.

198K on my '99 & it is my official winter mobile.
Well, at least when the roads suck.
Which has been like darn near every day since the start of the month.
The sand tubes are a great idea, I've gotta drop by the nearest HD & score a few!
