Changes from year to year?
Hi, I'm thinking of getting a Crossfire this Spring and I was just wondering what changes were made from year to year of production?
So far I see that the AutoDim mirror was only used in the 2004's. Were there any other changes made (besides Coupe/Roadster/SRT-6 bodystyle and the color availabilities)?

Yep, luv that Auto-Dimming rear view mirror, course it doesn't work really well with rear window tint, but then I guess it doesn't have to !

The 07-up have a radio display that can be read in daylight. The power window switches are no longer backwards and my 08 has a passenger side "knee air-bag" that my 04 didn't.
I believe the limited vs the base package became available in 2005.
07-08 have a dead pedal for the MT6. The user manual comes in a pretty case on the newer cars. In 2005, purchase of a new Crossfire got you a set of free Crossfire luggage.
In 2005 they offered the AMG-built SRT6, auto tranny only.
In 2006, some of the n/a packages came with the SRT6 wheels for no apparent reason.
Get the picture -- very little, no zero, product development over 5 years. Basically re-skin a reliable but underpowered SLK320 and sell it for less than the SLK320/350.
