I have seen several cars on here with them, and I was curious where I might get them, and approx. cost. How about install? Thanks in advance, chris

well Chris, I just bought one off of ebay. I had been directed there by at least a couple of members which was fine. I paid 400 plus 25 shipping. The thing I'm not happy about is that I bought it on 12/31, and usually on ebay they have the stuff, you pay for it and it ships. In this case they build it AFTER you pay for it, then this ad that about the polisher not being in yada yada yada. Message left today that it would be shipped tomorrow, so my car will be out of the shop probably tomorrow and I have no grille yet. They didn't say that on the ebay spot, otherwise I would have had a regular grille painted and it would have been installed and done. I'm not happy that they blew me off, said it would be here early this week, ie shipped thursday of last week, no communication worth a hoot, and I'll be leaving that feedback on ebay. It'll look nice when it's done, but it was a very poor shopping experience. Mark

Sorry to hear about your experience with them. However, it doesn't surprise me. This is the company that worked with a forum member (donoutwest) to bring this to reality. When Don was able to get a number of forum members to buy the grille, the company jacked up his costs (to make him drop out) and took the grilles direct.

I will. I'll photo my Alabaster with the new grille as soon as practical so y'all can see how it looks. If you order one, get an email from them that they have it in stock. It didn't occur to me to ask. I've bought alot of stuff off ebay and never had a situation like this where it's really a custom order and maybe I'll see it in a couple of weeks or maybe not. I really appreciate though that the forum pointed me in the right direction to find what I wanted. Thanks guys! Mark

I got mine and got no instructions for the gril...normally it wouldnt be an issue but the install is rather awkward. I was on hold for an hour with no answers...aim/airbagit/chassis tech blow, which I have always known, so its my fault I guess

Ok, I did get the grille, Punkin has the same one, and the instructions are hard to read, but I figured it out as being only a bracket that holds it onto the frame. But it does stay tight, and after it has been on I have to say it looks nice. It was built to fit just so. I haven't installed the lowers yet, it's just been too cold to sit on the garage floor. I also picked up a rosewood dashkit from Mimousa, and will have to wait until it gets warmer to put that in too, as the tape just won't hold in this cold. Ryan is the rep and he and I have been having some good conversations and they have alot of stuff that will fit the Crossfire, along with designers that will work with us to make more, such as I've been discussing with him making fender flares. Anyway, the grille is heavy and well built and overall I'm happy for the 400 I spent on it. If this one gets damaged I'll probably justget the standard one and paint it the body color though.

When I installed mine, I also put some thin rubber on the very end of each piece so it would not rub and damage the paint. I've had mine over a year and am very happy.

I ordered the brushed finish instead of polished. It arrived with no hardware and no instructions. The edges of each bar was so rough where they brushed it that it would cut your fingers. I called and complained and was told to take sandpaper to the edges! I spent over an hour with a small file taking off the edges. After 2 weeks I finally got the hardware and wasn't happy with the spring mounting so I made a couple of brackets and mounted it solid top and bottom. I also used liquid electric tape and coated the ends so it wouldn't tear up the paint. It looks good now, but I wasn't happy about paying that much and then having to do so much work on it.

Liquid tape is what I used! Put 2 coats on and it worked great.
