What exhaust set up you have?

Hey guys guilty as charge, lol I work in the waterford bulidings in blue lagoon and thats me. I have a removed rear muffler. It is a little loud but have had compliments from everyone from it, including viper and Z06 drivers. Let me know if you guys are ever up for an X-fire meet I deffinately would start something up.

 

Removed muffler or resonator?
If muffler how did you finish off the exiting pipes?

 

I removed the rear muffler with the original tips attached, and put a y -pipe (about 2 ft long) and finished with two 3.5 inch double walled stainless steel tips. I cannot upload pics at work but i have no problem ever meeting with anybody to see how it sounds. I have heard MANY clips of the Borla and Magnaflow cat-back systems, and i would say that imy setup sounds waaaay better (and a hell of a lot cheaper), just my $0.02

Nice! I drive from Boca to Miami every day so half the time I drive the SRT. Otherwise the Taurus gets the call!

How come you didn't get your SRT tuned when Jerry came done from Chicago a few weeks ago?

 

Was picking up my SRT at Tamiami Chrysler today and met two XF owners. An 05 White and a black 06 roadster. Neither one had heard of the forum. Educated them and got some good questions asked about the XF's.

 

I heard about that and wanted to meet up really just to get a chance to meet fellow xfire owners but had the folks in town.

I heard it was a really good deal too. It was right near the carmax in davie that i bought my srt from.

 

crossfirebird, I'm down in Miami as well, and I would really like to hear your setup. I thought they were talking about me before you chimed in, as I too have a black one, black wheels, and modded ehhaust. I removed the rear cats from mine, and it gives the car a nice throaty sound, but I'm always looking for something that might be better.
