My 06 Roadster has a build date of July 05. I have read numerous articles about Crossfires not really having an 06 model year. Is there anyone out there with a 06 Coupe or Roadster that actually has on 06 build date ?.. Although all my compliance labels reflect 2006, I am feeling like its really a 2005 ...

It does take awhile for these cars to be shipped to the US. My 2005 SRT6 has a 7/04 build date. I think most have the date of the year before on theirs but I would be curious too if anyone has a 2006 build date~

 

Tony, my goodness, all manufacturers always start selling the next year's models around September (ie, 2009 cars started selling in September 2008). How do you think that is possible? Build date and model year are rarely synonymous.

 

I have a 06 x-fire limited coupe with a build date of July,2006.
Also have a 2005 limited coupe with a build date of July,2004.
Were all of these cars built in the month of July?

 

Yes they were as Germany has very long summer vacations, they start in August and end in June. So you can see that July is very busy, working 24/7 for the month. After a month like that you need a holiday.
